Questions, answered straight
How do you make money if you don't take commissions?
From the products on this page, paid by you. Some installers pay a flat, disclosed fee for our tools or a directory listing. It's the same for everyone and never affects rankings or reviews. Full details.
Who is behind BatterySorted?
Amir, a licensed electrician and solar/battery designer on the Gold Coast. [Amir to confirm wording and licence details.]
What data do I need for the report?
Ideally 12 months of smart-meter interval data (a CSV from your retailer or distributor) plus your quotes. Recent bills work too, with less precision.
Will you pass my details to installers?
No. We never sell or share your details with installers.
Is this personal financial or electrical advice?
No. It's general information based on the data you provide, not a site inspection. Your installer remains responsible for final design and compliance.
Should I wait for prices to drop?
Maybe. The rebate steps down over time, but a rushed, oversized or poorly installed battery costs more than a slightly smaller rebate. The report shows both sides with your numbers.
