Install-day and handover checklist

On the day

• ☐ The installer on site is the accredited person named on the paperwork (or properly supervised)
• ☐ Battery location matches what was agreed (clearances, sun, ventilation; not in a habitable room)
• ☐ The backup circuits are the ones you agreed to

Before they leave

• ☐ Certificate of electrical safety / compliance
• ☐ Commissioning report, with settings and serial numbers photographed
• ☐ Monitoring app set up in your name
• ☐ Backup tested (if included): switch off the main and confirm the essential circuits stay on
• ☐ Warranty registration done, with the confirmation emailed to you
• ☐ STC paperwork signed only for the correct usable capacity
• ☐ Final invoice matches the quote

Keep a folder with

• Quote and contract
• Invoices
• Certificates
• Photos
• Warranty confirmations
